Why you must know how to refer

WHY SHOULD I REFER?

I get this question a lot and the answer is REFERRING IS BUSINESS , look around you everything is based on referring, You would rather patronize a pepper seller with good reputation than a newbie in the market, a politician needs to be referred before he can be given the post, you won't vote for a newbie because you might think he isn't capable enough. Napoleon Hill once said “The Ability to influence people without irritating men is the most profitable art known to man” But is referring that easy? The answer is NO, but for someone who  has mastered all  principles of referring, it’s  Yes we would discuss that later on.

Qualities You Need To Have Before You Can Refer
1. Faith: You need to have faith in yourself, the company you are promoting and your prospective.
2. Accurate Thinking: convincing people to patronize the company you are promoting, you must be able to read your prospective's mind, eliminate any possible threat that can dissuade registration.
3. Persistence: 80% of the prospectives did not register immediately, they registered when the person referring continued to seduce them with motivational words and credit alert, convincing people to put their hard earned money into the business you are promoting can be an Herculean task if you are not persistent and easy if you are persistent.
4. Reputation: referring has a lot to do with reputation and trust, would you allow a doctor who make mistakes during operation very often operate you? I guess not. The same also applies for referring.
5. Good Listening Skills: A prospective giving you a hard time or looking for flimsy excuses to avoid registration, listen to what he says and use it to your advantage.
6. Confidence: Many people want to refer but they don't have confidence in themselves,

Things You Need To Know Before Referring.
1. Knowledge of Company: Before you start referring you need to do research on the company you are promoting, knowledge on the business opportunity you are advertising, no doing enough research is like a soldier going to war with an umbrella instead of his gun, such a soldier might not return home because of his stupidity.
2. Knowing your target: This is very essential when referring, it helps reduce wasted effort, in what way? Imagine trying to sell a cow to a person who can only afford a chicken, that a total waste of time, to avoid this your product or business should suit your prospective.
3. Referring isn’t an easy task: there are no shortcut to success, you need to sacrifice your time and effort to create a steady means of income.

How To Refer
How do I refer? How do I get prospectives? What if I don’t get enough prospectives? Here are excuses prospectives make when they don’t want to register. There are two major ways one can refer, they are:
1. Online: This involves the use of social media, websites, blogs to get prospectives. This is the best and most profitable way to get prospectives, we will shed more light on how you can use it to get prospectives in the next chapter.
2. Offline: This involves the use of handbills, fliers, seminars and one to one conversation to get prospectives it is also profitable but capital intensive and limited.

Using The Social Media To Get Prospectives
Getting prospectives via the online method is very fast, less stressful and more convenient because you get to reach out to a large audience than you can reach out to with the offline method. The three basic social media platform you can use to get prospectives are:
1. Facebook: This is a social media platform with over 2 billion users worldwide, Facebook has buy and sell groups through which you can connect and meet buyers and sellers world wide, you can reach out to  over 200 thousand members more than what you can reach out to wit the offline method at a go.
2. WhatsApp: this is another interactive platform but more private why? It only shows friends  who you have as your contacts, but the good part is on WhatsApp you can create a group and reach out to 257 people at a go, WhatsApp is a very common social media platform, because it is private, you can share and send files of any type on this platform I would give you more info on this in the next chapter.
3. Telegram: is another social media platform similar to WhatsApp but the difference is telegram groups can accommodate up to 100 thousand at a go & you can send file of any size unlike WhatsApp.

So how do I use them?
Use this formula
Facebook (For advertising)
WhatsApp (For presentation)
Telegram (For mentorship)

Advertise on Facebook groups, create post  and include your WhatsApp group link, set a specific time for your presentation notify the group to stay tuned, present, explain and convince your audience, prospectives who register should be added to the telegram group for mentorship.

Getting Prospectives Via Fb

Create a post that arouse the curiosity of the audience; your first sentence should capture your audience and make them read the next sentence, the next sentence is to give more information about the business you are advertising then paste the link to your WhatsApp group, lastly attach photos to convince your audience e.g
